UN POT DE MIEL AVARIE – Score: 2,5/10

Un petit tour en Irlande du Nord chez Bushmill, la plus célèbre distillerie d’Irlande.

Ce soir, la version classique 10 ans d’âge de chez Bushmill’s mais l’ancienne version datant des années 80.

Pas de quoi s’extasier pour autant. Un whisky plat, liquide, mêlant douceur et amertume, vague note de miel et de caramel trop cuit. L’amertume se pointe rapidement sur du bois sec proche de la paille (sans doute le grain utilisé).

Pas du tout mon style, j’ai du mal à comprendre pourquoi cette distillerie attire autant d’amateurs.

Chance pour moi, la finale est très courte ce qui me permet de vite oublié ce whisky désastreux.

A little tour to the Northern Ireland at Bushmill, Ireland’s most famous distillery.

Tonight the classic 10 year old version from Bushmill’s but the old version from the 80s.

Not to be ecstatic, however. A flat, liquid whiskey, mixing sweetness and bitterness, a vague note of honey and overcooked caramel. The bitterness quickly appears on dry wood close to straw (probably the grain used).

Not at all my style, I find it hard to understand why this distillery attracts so many enthusiasts.

Lucky me, the finish is very short which allows me to quickly forget this awful whiskey
