La série “Elements of Islay”, c’est l’aboutissement d’une passion pour la famille anglaise d’origine indienne nommée Singh. Cette famille possédait les célèbres boutiques The Whisky Exchange à Londres mais était également connue pour avoir la plus belle collection de whisky du monde.
La création de cette marque “Elements of Islay”, regroupant les plus légendaires distilleries sous un même label, était un challenge que la famille Singh se devait de relever.
Chaque flacon est un blend de plusieurs fûts d’une même distillerie. Sous le code chimique se dissimule une distillerie. Dans notre cas, le Lg3 est le troisième batch d’un Lagavulin.
Cette version n’est certainement pas la plus représentative de la qualité des produits apportés par cet embouteilleur.
Bien que riche, le palais est décomposé, passant du citron vert’ aux épices, de la typique saveur carnée de Lagavulin à l’inattendue réglisse pour finir par des notes excessivement poivrées et boisées.
Certains retrouveront la signature gustative de Lagavulin sans son enchantement habituel.

The “Elements of Islay” series represents the culmination of a passion held by the English-Indian Singh family. This family once owned the renowned Whisky Exchange shops in London and was also known for having the world’s most magnificent whisky collection.
Creating the “Elements of Islay” brand, which brings together the most legendary distilleries under one label, was a challenge that the Singh family felt compelled to undertake.
Each bottle is a blend of several casks from the same distillery, with a distillery hidden behind the chemical code. In our case, Lg3 is the third batch from Lagavulin.
This particular version is certainly not the most representative of the quality typically offered by this bottler.
Although rich, the palate is somewhat disjointed, transitioning from lime and spices to the typical meaty Lagavulin flavor, unexpectedly concluding with overly peppery and woody notes.
Some may recognize the Lagavulin flavor profile, but it lacks its usual enchantment
