Glencadam is one of the many distilleries known only to whisky enthusiasts. A distillery that also produces delightful offerings deserving wider recognition.
Next year marks the distillery’s two hundred years of existence, yet it’s only relatively recently that they’ve produced whiskies under their own name rather than for the blend market.
This limited edition, comprising nearly six thousand bottles, represents the third batch released for this thirteen-year-old malt aged in bourbon casks.
Ultimately, a rather pleasant batch on the palate, characterized primarily by hazelnuts, dry wood, and custard delicately sprinkled with vanilla.
A delectable whisky to accompany a chocolatey dessert, worth exploring on a special occasion.
