Durant leur European Tour du début d’année, Kilchoman n’est pas benu qu’avec l’embouteillage spécial de cet événement mais également avec un small batch dédié au marché belge et luxembourgeois.
Alors il était important pour moi de le découvrir prestement afin de partager cela avec vous, mes très chers et fidèles lecteurs.
Coïncidence ou pas, cette version du Kilchoman semble être en parfaite harmonie avec la tradition brassicole belge et en porter toute les saveurs.
La bouche est onctueuse et douce, les notes de levure et de bière blonde se manifeste avec force, accompagnée d’une pincée de vanille. La tourbe typique de Kilchoman envahi l’espace pour se terminer dans une finale crayeuse.
C’est à nouveau une belle réussite pour la distillerie d’Islay qui arrive à conserver une constance dans ces productions récentes.

During their European Tour at the beginning of the year, Kilchoman brought not only a special bottling for this event but also a small batch dedicated to the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
So it was important for me to swiftly explore this in order to share it with you, my dear and faithful readers.
Whether coincidental or not, this version of Kilchoman seems to be in perfect harmony with the Belgian brewing tradition and embodies all its flavors.
The palate is smooth and gentle, the notes of yeast and pale beer shine through strongly, accompanied by a hint of vanilla. Kilchoman’s typical peatiness takes over the scene, leading to a chalky finish.
Once again, it’s a great success for the Islay distillery, maintaining consistency in their recent productions.
