Troisième whiskey de cette dégustation en forme de chemin de croix pour moi. Comme une pénitence pour avoir bu de trop bon single malt jusqu’à présent.
Une forme de compensation, une manière de remettre les pieds sur terre et de se rendre compte que tout le monde (surtout de l’autre côté de l’Atlantique), n’a pas la chance d’avoir d’excellents whisky écossais, irlandais ou asiatiques à déguster.
Une pensée d’ailleurs pour tous les consommateurs nord américains ayant à subir ce genre de produit tel que l’infâme Roughstock Black Label produit dans le Montana.
Un whiskey donc l’alcool (il titre à 61,5%) est très mal intégré et dont les saveurs sont bien trop fortes et capiteuses pour être agréable. Trop de café, de caramel, de viande carbonisée, d’épices. L’impression d’avoir sucer un charbon sur lequel du jus de viande de barbecue aurait coulé.
Le pire whiskey de l’année 2021 (actuellement).

Third whiskey of this tasting in the shape of the Way of the Cross for me. Like a penance for drinking too good single malt so far.
A form of compensation, a way to put your feet back on the ground and realize that not everyone (especially on the other side of the Atlantic) is lucky enough to have excellent Scotch, Irish or Asian whiskies to taste.
A thought for all North American consumers who have to endure this kind of product such as the infamous Roughstock Black Label produced in Montana.
A whiskey therefore alcohol (it has a 61.5% content) is very poorly integrated and whose flavors are far too strong and heady to be pleasant. Too much coffee, caramel, charred meat, spices. The feeling of sucking on a charcoal that had barbecue gravy spilled onto it.
The worst whiskey of 2021 (as of now).
