UN MALT DANS UN CHAMP DE FLEUR – Score: 9/10
La distillerie Linkwood est une petite industrie destinée principalement à l’élaboration de distillat pour le marché du blending. Principalement pour Johnnie Walker et White Horse.
Néanmoins, une partie de la production est racheté par des embouteilleurs indépendants.
C’est le cas de la version qui nous concerne, embouteillée par l’immense Signatory Vintage pour sa collection Vintage réduite à 43,0% vieilli en Hogshead bourbon.
La teinte est claire pour un whisky de 19 ans et l’on apprécie au palais une douceur exceptionnelle très florale avec ses notes de violette, de miel et de vanille. Tout est extrêmement bien équilibré, on apprécie notamment sa finale plus boisée (sans être amère).
Une bonne bouteille pleine de fraîcheur et de délicatesse.

The Linkwood Distillery is a small industry primarily engaged in making distillate for the blending market. Mainly for Johnnie Walker and White Horse.
However, part of the production is bought by independent bottlers.
This is the case with the version that concerns us, bottled by the huge Signatory Vintage for its Vintage collection reduced to 43.0% aged in Hogshead bourbon.
The color is clear for a 19-year-old whisky and an exceptional, very floral sweetness is appreciated on the palate with its notes of violet, honey and vanilla. Everything is extremely well balanced, we particularly appreciate its more woody finish (without being bitter).
A good bottle full of freshness and delicacy.
