TOUT EST DANS L’EQUILIBRE…. QU’IL N’A PAS – Score 6,5/10
Ce 15 ans, je l’ai goûté dans un bar de Genève à 25 CHF la dose de 2 cl (oui, les suisses sont chers).
Autant dire que la déception fut au rendez-vous. Un whisky manquant d’équilibre et dont la présence éthylique se fait cruellement sentir (ça pique). Pour un 43° c’est plutôt surprenant (dans le mauvais sens du terme).
Si l’on arrive a passer outre le picotement de l’alcool, on pourra détecter les fondamentaux du Aberlour : l’orange, le cacao et l’amertume du chêne.
Rien d’extraordinaire et certainement pas un whisky que je rachèterai. Mais je pourrais comprendre s’il plaît à certains.

Suffice to say that the disappointment was there. A whisky lacking of balance and whose ethyl presence is sorely felt (it stings). For a 43 ° it is rather odd.
If we manage to ignore the tingling of alcohol, we can detect the fundamentals of Aberlour: orange, cocoa and the bitterness of the oak.
Nothing to fancy and certainly not a whisky that I will buy again. But I could understand that some find it pleasant somehow.
