Samaroli : y a-t-il plus légendaire embouteilleur que Samaroli ?

Evidemment, nous avons les gros noms comme Gordon & MacPhail’s, Signatory Vintage ou le plus récent Douglas Laing. Mais Samaroli est l’embouteilleur des plus grands noms de la planète whisky. Bowmore 1966 Flowers, Strathisla 1967, Laphroaig 1967 (je sais l’embouteilleur est Duthies mais c’est Samaroli qui l’a sélectionné).

Bref, dans le monde du malt, l’embouteilleur italien est une légende et sa sélection est rarement décevante.

Alors, lorsqu’un gentil collectionneur vous offre un sample de Samaroli, vous ne pouvez que le vénérer.

Cette version Bruichladdich de Samaroli est tout simplement divine. Une douceur exceptionnelle, une balance éthylique bien maîtrisée, un mix entre la douceur du sherry et l’iode marin de Islay. On y ressort des notes légères de caramel beurre salé, de fruits confis, de douces amandes.

Une finale légèrement boisée avec quelques pointes de vanille.

Samaroli: is there a more legendary bottler than Samaroli?

Obviously we have the big names like Gordon & MacPhail’s, Signatory Vintage or the more recent Douglas Laing. But Samaroli is THE bottler of the biggest names on the whisky planet. Bowmore 1966 Flowers, Strathisla 1967, Laphroaig 1967 (I know the bottler is Duthies but Samaroli selected them).

In short, in the world of malt, the Italian bottler is a legend and its selection is rarely disappointing.

So when a nice collector gives you a sample of Samaroli, you can only revere it.

This Bruichladdich version of Samaroli is simply divine. Exceptional sweetness, a well-controlled ethylic balance, a mix between the sweetness of sherry and sea iodine from Islay. There are light notes of salted butter caramel, candied fruit and sweet almonds.

A slightly woody finish with some hints of vanilla.
