Deuxième opus de cette série dédiée à Bunnahabhain, un embouteillage du célèbre et cultissime club londonien – Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Ici nous aurons un embouteillage titrant à 60,6% et vieilli en fût de bourbon octroyant à ce breuvage une belle complexité et une douceur onctueuse.
Tout se jouera dans les premières notes d’une belle texture et d’un équilibre éthylique appréciable (on ne sent quasi pas les 60%), les fruits du verges (poire, pêche) seront bien représentés accompagnés de fruits plus exotiques (goyave, papaye) et une dose de gingembre pour corsé le tout. Les épices se feront ensuite leur place dans la bouche dans la finalité accompagnés d’une touche d’iode plutôt classique chez Bunnah.
Encore une belle sélection chez SMWS et une production remarquée pour Bunnahabhain.

Second opus of this series dedicated to Bunnahabhain, a bottling of the famous and cult London club – Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Here we will have a bottling at 60.6% strength and aged in bourbon barrels giving this beverage a beautiful complexity and a perfect smoothness.
Everything will play out in the first notes of a beautiful texture and an appreciable ethylic balance (we hardly feel the 60%), the fruits of the rods (pear, peach) will be well represented accompanied by more exotic fruits (guava, papaya) and a dose of ginger for a full-bodied flavor. The spices will then make their place in the mouth in the end accompanied by a touch of iodine rather classic at Bunnah.
Another great selection at SMWS and a remarkable production for Bunnahabhain.
