Some, like myself, relish in the robust and refined whiskies. Others prefer subtlety and delicacy.
Glen Moray is among those distilleries offering light and easy-to-drink spirits. A gentle character defines this production, which in recent years has sought innovation with its “Curiosity” series.
In terms of innovation, Glen Moray has truly outdone themselves by maturing their malt in a cider cask.
This is the first time I’ve heard of such a practice, thus discovering this type of production.
The result is quite satisfying, with typical notes of honey complemented by apples and mint, all while maintaining a powdery texture.
A captivating and innovative Glen Moray, much to our delight.
